IELTS is the most popular English Language Proficiency test organized mainly for international academics and for global migration.

In this test, all of your English skills are analyzed including listening, reading, writing and speaking. The exam is designed in such a way that reflects how you will play with the English language at your work, at study and at play in foreign.

Types of IELTS

Presently there are mainly two types of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) but three versions of IELTS. The three versions of IELTS Test consist – 1) IELTS Academic, 2) IELTS General Training, and 3) IELTS Life Skills.

The first version of IELTS Test is intended chiefly for students, who wish to study abroad and wants to take admission at foreign institutions or universities. To enroll in a foreign university, one has to go through the IELTS Academic test and ensure a good score to achieve the target. The second version of IELTS test is ‘IELTS General Training’ which is a great choice for the people who wish to migrate to the English speaking nation and work there. The United States, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia are the countries where IELTS scores are mandatory to work there or migrate.

The third version of test – IELTS Life Skills, is meant for the people who wish to get UK Visa and immigration. IELTS Life Skills A1 is for the one who aims to apply for the UK Visa and Immigration of family, partner or spouse visa. IELTS Life Skills B1 test is held to obtain citizenship.
