The government of Canada announced that international students can now apply for studying in Canada and get their decision by August 6, 2021, if they submit their study permit application by May 15, 2021. This means they would be able to attend this fall semester.
If international students fail to submit their application by May 15, 2021, IRCC will process their application as soon as they can. But they won’t be able to process their application and provide a decision before the fall semester begins due to COVID-19 restrictions such as reduced service at VACs (visa application centres) and other providers.
